Brenda K. B. Anderson can be found sewing, crocheting, and knitting into the wee hours after her kids have gone to bed. She loves designing stuffies that make her laugh and accessories that beg to be worn over and over again by her friends and family. Brenda is the author of Beastly Crochet and Crochet Ever After and can be found teaching classes at Craftsy.com, including her class, Crochet Mittens and Fingerless Gloves. She has contributed to several books and numerous magazines and is the managing editor of Creative Crochet Corner. She lives in a little house in Saint Paul, MN where it is sweater weather nine months of the year and blogs about her crafty adventures at Craftsplosion.com.

Beth Bradley's love for clothing started at a young age. With a clear passion for fashion, she began taking sewing classes at her local fabric store during high school, using money from her part-time job. Pursuing her passion, she earned a degree in Apparel Design, and her expertise in sewing has taken her to various cities including New York and London. While Beth enjoys draping and patternmaking, she equally cherishes simple and enjoyable sewing projects. Suzy Furrer

Suzy Furrer has over 35 years’ experience in the fashion industry. She began her career as a freelance patternmaker and directed the development of capsule collections for small fashion companies. Suzy is the Founder and Director of Apparel Arts (established 1996) and Apparel Arts Productions (www.ApparelArtsProductions.com), an online fashion design school established in 2020. Suzy developed a comprehensive curriculum to give students in-depth training to be strong candidates to enter the workforce in apparel or costume design or to simply build strong sewing and drafting skills for one's own personal use. Apparel Arts has graduated hundreds of students who currently work in the apparel or costuming industries. In addition, she has been an instructor for GAP Inc.’s Product Development Immersion Program. Suzy teaches and speaks at sewing and craft conferences, sewing guilds, and art schools and has taught classes for the employees of entertainment giants Pixar and Lucas Films. She is the author of Building Patterns, The Architecture of Women’s Clothing.

Jessica Giardino

Hailing from a long line of artists, crafters and make-do-and-menders, Jessica grew up enjoying several different creative outlets. As an adult this has translated into finding any excuse to create daily. Her passion for sewing was handed down from her grandmother and mother. Previously, Jessica worked as a member of the amazing team that creates Sew News, Creative Machine Embroidery, and Sew it All magazines. Stacy Grissom

Stacy Grissom is an avid sewer, knitter, and crocheter. Her sewing journey began a few years ago when she attended an Intro to Sewing class at Fabric Bliss in Denver, Colorado, and from that moment, she was hooked. Leaving behind her high-stress job as a veteran middle school special educator, she decided to pursue her passion further and is now a sewing and knitting teacher at Fabric Bliss. Ashley has sewn for years. Her mother taught her at a very young age. When first starting out, she stuck to mastering commercial patterns before venturing into creating her own. Her patterns have been featured in Sew News, Sew It All, and she has even been on Sew It All TV. Quilting is somewhat new to Ashley, but she dove in head first – coming up with an original design for her first quilt that included curved seams and hand appliqué! She was even lucky enough to have it featured in one of Quilty’s "This is My Quilt" episodes. Ashley loves all things crafty, from sewing to knitting, crochet to quilting, and everything in between. When she isn’t working on a new project or learning a different technique she loves teaching her passion to others.

ZJ Humbach is a professional longarm quilter and pattern designer who owns and operates Dream Stitcher Quilt Studio in Nederland, Colorado. Her work appears in McCall’s Quilting, Quilters Newsletter, and Quiltmaker magazines. A former Quilters Newsletter editor, she wrote a longarm quilting column, “Finish Line,” for each issue. Now ZJ is a freelance writer for Quilters Newsletter and the Studio Arts Quilt Associates (SAQA) Journal. She also quilts regularly for Connecting Threads.

Nicki LaFoille has been sewing for over 20 years. After her grandmother taught her to hand sew at the tender age of 11, Nicki fell in love with the craft and went on to receive a degree in Apparel Design from Central Michigan University. Janet Pray

Janet Pray is the owner of Islander Sewing Systems located in Highland, Michigan. At age 10, she was determined to learn how to sew from her grandmother who lived over 200 miles away, and over the years, learned everything she could about sewing. She eventually collected her skills and applied her entrepreneurial spirit to take over the operation of Islander Sewing Systems, founded by her aunt and mentor, Margaret Islander. Janet's mission is to continue inspiring and teaching home sewers how fun and rewarding the craft is, passing along the knowledge she has gained from her grandmother, aunt, and many others along her journey.

Tara Rex was born and raised in a small town in Canada, where her parents recognized her artistic talents at an early age. Colleen Tauke

Colleen Tauke is a quilter, designer, and quilt educator with 40+ years of sewing experience. Of those, the last 17 years have been focused around quilting. Early in her quilting endeavors, she was challenged to piece a quilt that seemed daunting. Fussy cutting, Y-seams, strip piecing, hourglass blocks, a pieced border, and appliqué—all in ONE quilt. This was her first bed sized quilt that would later become a quilt shop sample and win third-place at the Iowa State Fair in the “My First Quilt” division. Since then, she was hooked!
