I have dissembled several men's ties, thinking that I would make a pillow top. I'm wondering what type of fabric I should use to make the bottom. Haven't thought of putting in a zipper, rather, I would like to make a backing with overlapping fabric without any zipper closure. Anyone have any history with something like this? Do I need to put a backing on the tie material? Comments?
I use wonder under and draw my shape on the back before you separate the layers.
I'm sorry, but these designs are not at all attractive.
