Simplicity or McCall s has a few patterns that have 3 body types or sizes. Some are pants that are slim,regular and curvy. Tops with adjustable bust. Haven't made them yet.
I recently did a sewing project using oil cloth. I don't have a walking foot, so I tried using tape under the foot to help (which was suggested), but still had problems. Any suggestions or tips for sewing with this fabric?
Did you already cover pintucks?
Nicki, do you prefer prewashing fabric for quilting?
Can you recommend a good brand of thread?
I am making a cape that just reaches below my finger tips. I made it with fleece & would love to line it. My concern is static electricity with the fleece as well as the lining. Is there a lining fabric that is static free? Or do you have another suggestion to lining this cape.
Can thread that is old effect sewing?
