I have a Singer sewing machine from the mid fifties and it has to be oiled before you sew, every time. No, it's not my only machine. I also own a Brother and a Kenmore. The old Singer makes a beautiful stitch and will sew heavier fabric better than the new ones. So now you know about oiling.

Hi, great webinar. I don't quilt but I am sure the circle foot is for free arm quilting - with feed dogs down. I have a question ... What is the best way to make pants smaller in crotch area - possible? Thank you! Elisa, Melbourne, Australia

I also use ribbon or bias binding to prevent stretch in shoulders of stretch fabric

What is the best way to embroider signatures on your project. -That is copying someone's signature and embroidering over it for a keepsake project. I don't have an embroidery machine.
