    I'm trying to find a pattern for the ottoman shown in the beginning of the video - made with all different fabrics.

    Good idea, but I prefer to clip edges.

When stitching curves, notch the seam allowance to reduce bulk when the fabric is turned right side out. Use your pinking shears to simultaneously notch, while trimming the seam allowance, when stitching neck lines or armscye curves.
